Joe Bob Clearman, age 14, was killed last Friday, January 26, 1943, in an accident while helping unload pipe at North Camp Hood. He was born January 7, 1929 to Mar. & Mrs. A. Jake Clearman. Survivors include his parents; four sisters and four brothers, Mrs. R.T McMullin of Oglesby, Miss Mary Lou Clearman of Oglesby, Mrs. L.L. Slaughter of Douglas, Arizona, Mrs Fred Stoermer of Waco, Ray Clearman of Waco, Jack Clearman of US Army Air Corps, Billie Clearman of US Army, and Phillip Clearman of Oglesby.
