Married 23 March 1949, Port Orchard, Kitsap County, Washington, to Naomi Gene Davis. Father of two sons and a daughter. Widowed in 1990, he married Helen R. Gordon Kneitel in 1991 and she was warmly welcomed into the family. John was a most kind and honest person. His life was lived with integrity, loyalty, laughter and love.
