Bio
Superior Express May 2, 1991 A former Superior and Guide Rock (NE) resident, Emma Mildred Frey, died at the Villa Manor Care Center, Lakewood, Colorado, April 11, 1991. She was 93 years, 6 months and 19 days of age at the time of her death. One of 10 children, she was born to John and Lizzie Schultz. She lived on a farm south of Guide Rock until 1911 when the family moved into town. She was united in marriage to Ernest Frey, Feb 26, 1921. This marriage was blessed with a son, Marvin and a daughter, Donna. They lived on the Frey homestead north of Guide Rock until 1935. Because of the drought and depressions, they left the farm and moved to Guide Rock. In the summer of 1944, they moved to Superior where Mr Frey was employed at the Superior elevator. In 1955, they moved to Denver She was baptized and became a member of Our Saviors Reformed Church, Lakewood, Colorado, in 1971. Preceding her in death were her parents; all of her brothers and sisters; in 1969 by her husband, Ernest; and one grandson, Jimmy England, 1987. Memorial services were at Our Saviors Refomed Church, Lakewood, April 16, 1991, with Dr William Traugott officiating. Interment was in Crown Hill Cemetery,
