Howard Fox Hales was born 19 Dec 1915 in Riverside, Box Elder Cty, Utah to Stephen Alexander Hales and Mary Ellen Fox. He was the youngest of 13 children. Ten sisters and 2 brothers. He married Alice Fennema on 2 Nov 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were blessed with 4 children: Jeanene; Warren (deceased 22 Aug 1985); Richard; Janet. He was employed by Mountain Bell Telephone & Telegraph. He died on 2 Nov 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah from Leukemia.
