d/o John Hammond & Rosie Denver Forrest ------------ Services for Mrs. Johnson, 50, of Route 6 Lufkin were held Thursday, January 6 in the Oakley Metcalf Chapel. Burial was in the Huntington Cemetery. Mrs. Johnson died in a local hospital Wednesday. She was born August 9, 1921 in Huntington and had lived in Angelina County most of her life. She was a saleslady for Perry Brothers No. 1 and a member of the Memorial Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Louis A. of Lufkin; daughters Mrs. Julie Smith of Pensacola, Fla, and Mrs. Ruby Zimmerly of Lufkin, six grandchildren.
