T. HAMMOND FINAL RITES ON SUNDAY Funeral services for Travis B. Hammond, 43, of 606 Galveston Highway, Houston, are scheduled for 4:00 p.m. Sunday in the Gipson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Sam Farris will officiate and interment will follow in the Huntington Cemetery. Mr. Hammond died Friday morning at his residence in Houston. He was born October 7, 1917 at Nacogdoches and had resided in Houston for the past 10 years. Mr. Hammond had been employed by the T. A. Carlton Well Service for six years. He was a member of the Congregational Methodist Church. The body will lie in state at the Gipson Funeral Home. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Rosie D. Hammond; one sister, Mrs. Louis Johnson; two nieces, Rubie Zimmerly and Julie Smith. Gipson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
