Bio

Lewisville-Services for Joe Fred Brown, 70, of 312 Edwards, Lewisville, will be held at 2 pm SDaturday at the Lewisville First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dixon Shafter of Hebron Baptist Church, assisted by Dr. Gilbert Callaway, officiating. Burial will be at Old Hall Cemetery under the direction of Lucas Holden Funeral Home. Mr. Brown died Thursday night at Flow Memorial Hospital. He was born, December 1, 1899 and had been a long time Lewisville resident. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Mrs. Mary Lou Boenker. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lula Mae Brown; four sons, Jack and Bobby Brown, both of Lewisville, Charlie Joe Brown of Honey Grove and Billy Wayne Brown of Groesbeck; three daughters, Mrs. Helen Bacon, Mrs. Dorothy McDaniel and Mrs. Jean Williams, all of Lewisville; twenty grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
