Obituary The Columbus Telegram 5 Jul 1974, Fr Page 7 MINICK-Mrs. Wauneta Minick, 69, of Rising City, died Wednesday night at the Butler County Hospital in David City. Services will be 9:30a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Shelby, the Rev. Anthony Trausch officiating. Burial will be at Circle Mound Cemetery, Rising City. The body will lie in state 3-9 p.m. Friday at Knott Funeral Home, David City, where rosary will be cited at 8 p.m. tonight. Born June 12, 1905 in Rising City, she was the daughter of Ed and Laura Haney and was married Feb. 26, 1928 to Lester Minick. They lived in Butler County most of their lives except for a few years in Mead and Cedar Bluffs. Survivors include a sister, Grace Duren of Rising City and a nephew, Ed Duren and family of Silver Springs, Idaho. Her husband, parents and brother, Bruce, preceded her in death.
