Kulhanek, 63, of Ellinger were held Friday, Jan. 15, at St. Mary's Catholic Church near Ellinger with Msgr. Ben Mazurkiewicz officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery. Kulhanek died Jan. 14 at his home in Ellinger. Born Dec. 21, 1924, in Fayetteville, he was the son of Victor R. and Ottilia Pavlicek Kulhanek. He was a World War II Army veteran. Surviving are his mother, Ottilia Kulhanek of Ellinger; three sisters, Tillie and her husband Richard Meyer, Delores and Hubert Odstrcil and Juanita and Garland Polasek, all of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his father. Koenig-Peel Funeral Home, directors. Banner Press, Columbus, Texas, January 21, 1988
