Bio

Ottilia Anna Kulhanek, 90, of Ellinger, passed away Jan. 26, 1993, in Columbus Care Center. She was born Aug. 8, 1902, the daughter of Victor and Louise (Stokr) Pavlicek in Frelsburg (Pesak Community). She married Victor Kulhanek in Frelsburg Sept. 3, 1924. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Ellinger, and a housewife. Funeral services were held Jan. 28 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Ellinger, with Msgr. Ben Mazurkiewicz officiating. Interment was in St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery. Mrs. Kulhanek is survived by three daughters, Juanita Polasek and husband Garland, Delores Odstrcil and husband Hubert and Tillie Meyer and husband Richard, all of Columbus; two brothers, Anton Pavlicek of East Bernard and Frank Pavlicek, EI Campo; two sisters, Antonia Stibora, La Grange and Mary Canik, Frelsburg: 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1984; son Charlie, 1988; four brothers and sisters. Colorado County Citizen, February 3, 1993
