Bio
Claudine Kennemore Farmer, 89, a long time resident of Austin, passed away Monday, Nov. 14, 2011, at Buckner Hospice in Austin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Col. James W. Farmer Sr.; three sisters, Pauline Kennemore, Doris Kennemore Gay, Ann Kennemore Merrill; two brothers, Thomas and Jerry Kennemore; and granddaughter, Catherine Elizabeth Young. Survivors include her daughter, Carolyn Farmer Douglas; son, James W. Farmer Jr. and wife Patsy Nelson-Farmer; grandson, James W. Farmer III and wife Amy Copland Farmer; and four great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2011, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home on North Lamar Blvd. in Austin. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, 2011, at Oakwood Cemetery in Corsicana. Arrangements by Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 3125 N. Lamar Blvd., Austin.
