Obituary reprinted from the Greenville Herald Banner: Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce L. James were held Tuesday at Rentfrow Funeral Chapel of Caddo Mill with the Rev. Billy Norris officiating. Burial was at Caddo Mills IOOF Cemetery. Born in Caddo Mills on March 26, 1935, she was the daughter of Earnest Guy Hall [my grandfather actually went by Guy Earnest] and Ida Rosenbalm Hall. She died Friday in Poplar Bluff, MO. On Nov 26, 1959, she married Noel R. James in Commerce. Mrs James was a supervisor for Hagar Clothing Company. She was a resident of Duncan, Okla. for 20 years. She is survived by husband Noel james of Patterson, MO; sons, Danny Solomon and Ricky Solomon of Hawkins, Cecil Rotz of Wichita Falls and Jerry James of Patterson, Mo; daughters, Connie Solomon of Big Sandy and Connie Eakin of Wichita Falls and brothers, Burl Hall of Royse City and D.E. Hall of Dallas. A daughter, Judy Mayo; brothers, James and Wilburn Hall and sister, Dorene Perez, died earlier.
