Bio

William Burl Hall, 85, of Caddo Mills passed into the arms of our Lord on December 17, 2010 at Lake Pointe Hospital in Rowlett. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday at Caddo Mills IOOF Cemetery under the direction of Coker-Mathews Funeral Home. Dr. Kelly Carr will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Hall was born August 15, 1925 in Caddo Mills to Guy E. and Ida P. Rosenbalm Hall. On December 23, 1945, he married Lorine Roderick in Ladonia, and they were soon to celebrate 65 years of marriage. He was a retired bus driver for Greyhound and was a farmer for many years. For 50 years, he belonged to the James Ladd Burgess Masonic Lodge and was a member of the Baptist faith. His survivors include his wife, son Robert Burl Hall, daughter Cynthia Denise Hall, grandchildren Jason Robert Hall and Karen Elaine Hall, and 5 great-grandchildren Crystal, Tabitha, and Rebecca Schilling and the little loves of his life Samantha and William Hall; brother-in-law Noel James of Wichita Falls; sisters-in-law Doris Clark and husband, Gene of Kaufman and Irene Hall Belcher of Ridgeway; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Dorene, Deward, James, Wilburn, and Joyce.
