Robert Thomas Smith (1926 - 2011) Robert Thomas Smith, 85, died Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011, in Fort Worth. Funeral Mass: 2 p.m. Monday at St. John's Catholic Church in Bridgeport. Interment: Winn Hill Cemetery in Jack County. Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home. Mr. Smith was born July 15, 1926, in Jermyn and was a retired general contractor. He served in the Merchant Marine and in the U.S. Army in Korea. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Louis Smith and Buddy Smith, and a granddaughter, Christy Smith. Survivors: Wife, Francis Shannon of Azle; sons, Jack Smith of California, Lyndon Smith, David Smith, Kevin Smith and Tim Smith, all of Bridgeport; sister, Bernice Clay of Jacksboro; brothers, Paul Smith of Loving and David R. Smith of Graham; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Published in Star-Telegram on November 6, 2011
