Bio
John Paul Smith passed away April 13, 2018 at his home near Loving, Texas. A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 PM Sunday, April 15, 2018 at McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home in Graham and a Funeral Mass on Monday, April 16, 2018 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Graham. Interment will be in the Winn Hill Cemetery in Jack County. Paul was born July 16, 1940 in Kilgore, Texas and had lived in Windthorst and Loving for many years. He was a retired farmer and rancher. Survivors include 3 sons, Dan Smith and wife Yvette of Windthorst, David Smith and wife Lisa of Windthorst and Dale Smith of Jacksboro; 2 daughters, Debbie Sissom and husband Corby of Holliday, Lisa Williams and husband Justin of Loving; 14 grandchildren, Ashley Helms, Allyson Smith, Amanda Smith, Westen Smith, Lindsay Helms, Kelcy Jackson, Peyton Sissom, Meagan Sissom, Sierra Sissom, Kathryn Steel, Christopher Hoadley, Adrian Smith, Mia Smith and Braden Williams; 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Gene Smith; his parents, Bob and Ruby Smith; 4 brothers, Robert T., Buddy, Louis and David Ray and a sister, Bernice Clay. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Beyond Faith Hospice, 604 Oak St, Graham, TX 76450. McMillan-Satterwhite Funeral Home Graham, Texas
