W. K. ALEXANDER DIES PASSES AWAY AT HOME ON THIRTEENTH STREET Death Due to Dropsy and Heart Trouble - Funeral Arrangements No Made Mrs. W. K. Alexander, 71 years old, died at her home on East Thirteenth street, a short distance beyond the city limits, at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon after a year's illness. Death was due to dropsy and heart trouble. Mrs. Alexander had resided in and near Carthage 28 years, coming here with her husband from Wichita, Kansas. The husband survives, he being a brother of R. N. Alexander of this city. He formerly engaged in the blacksmithing business here, at Second and Lyon streets, but has been retired several years. Besides the husband, two brothers and two sisters, three of them living near Wichita, Kans., and one sister residing near Houston, Texas survive. Mrs. Alexander was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. Funeral arrangements have not been made.
