Bio

Mr. Underwood, an aged and respected citizen of Seltzer, passed quietly away last Thursday morning, June 10th, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Clark Means. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Pracht at the Seltzer church and the remains were laid to rest in the Seltzer Springs cemetery beside his wife's, who had preceded him some five or six years. Mr. Uunderwood was born in 1816, living four score and two years. Two sons and three daughters are left to realize that father and mother both are gone.
