Son of James Floyd and Anna Frances Jordan Holbrook. Siblings: Wilson Noah Holbrook Squire Cowan Holbrook Covey E. Holbrook Robert A. Holbrook Henry Wise Holbrook John Nelson Holbrook Thomas Floyd Holbrook and sisters were Martha Holbrook Kennedy Mary, Sarah Malissa Prudence Elizabeth Jane. James Born October 24, 1848. Died 1939 (age 91). On June 7, 1874 James' first marriage was to Nancy Self, daughter of John and Rachel Self. James and Nancy had 3 children as follows: 1.William Holbrook. 2.James Lee Holbrook. 3.Martha Elizabeth "Mattie" Holbrook: On March 11, 1919 James' second marriage was to Mary Grubb (a widow). James and Mary had No children.
