Edell M. Shores, 85, of Jacksonville, FL previously of Tarrant, AL passed away on July 27, 2009. Edell was a member of Plainview Baptist Church and Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Mandy Murphree; her husband, Cleveland Welch Shores; one brother, Melbourn Murphree and one granddaughter, Stephanie Markovich. She is survived by two daughters, Carol Markovich (Steve) and Mary Gregory (David); two sons, Steven Shores and John Shores; three sisters, Evon Cagle, Florine Moorehouse and Marline Townsend (Jim); two brothers, Windell Murphree (Margaret) and Denfred Murphree (Jeneene); one sister-in-law, Jean Murphree; grandchildren, Lisa Hall, Lori Minot, Daphne Taylor, Barbara Markovich, Joshua Gregory, Anna Gregory and John Michael Shores SPC; great grandchildren, Sean Gillam, Brandon Gillam, Blake Morris, Miranda Taylor, Skylar Taylor, Cheyenne Minot, Dakota Minot, Travis Michael Shores and Hunter Shores. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31 beginning at 1:00 PM with Chapel services at 2:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with Rev.
