Bio

James Dalton Bewley graduated from R. L. Paschal High School and attended University of Texas at Arlington. Entered the United States Army April 1, 1960 and was permanently retired by reason of physical disability May 12, 1961. He married Gloria Flowers September 16, 1961 in Waurika, Jefferson Co., Oklahoma. They made their home in Fort Worth and the following year were blessed with a baby girl whom they named Janice Kay Bewley. James supported his young family by working for the Federal Aviation Agency in Fort Worth, Texas. Due to impaired health it became necessary for him to seek medical attention at Brooke Army Hospital in San Antonio., Texas. Shortly before his death they returned to Fort Worth where James Dalton passed away. James parents were Jessie Laton Bewley, Sr. and Vera Edith Wood. His siblings were: Sandra Bewley Stevens and Linda Kay Bewley.
