Bio

Mary was a quiet, sweet, gentle woman with a loving and charitable spirit. She was a schoolteacher for a short time before her marriage and a fulltime homemaker after her marriage. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Gleaners' Class at the church. She was also a member of Real Daughters of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.
