BOOK---Tidds of Ohio by Howard H Tidd; Pg-117 lists James Tidd (Mar 1840-Oct 1863); he had been studying with Dr Allen of Kinsman to become a doctor; before he enlisted in the Union Army in Sep 1862 ENLISTMENT--CIVIL WAR: James Tidd Enlisted on 14 Aug 1862 as a Private at the age of 22; joined Company B, 125th Infantry Regiment Ohio on 17 Nov 1862; he died of disease on 1 Nov 1863 at Nashville, TN. DEATH DATE differs; used the stone date (4 Oct 1863)
