Published in The Athens News Courier, Athens, AL, Wednesday, Dec. 19, 1979 Funeral services for William Prince Evans, 70, Athens Rt. 6, were held yesterday at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church with Bro. Doug McCurry and A.L. Rudolph officiating. Spry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Mr. Evans, who died Monday morning at the ECM Hospital in Florence, was buried in Lentzville Cemetery. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Vona Evans, Athens; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Forsyth of Athens; one sister, Mrs. Alice Freeman, Athens; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
