Bobby Carroll Griffin of Blue Ridge, Texas passed away on May 29, 2018 at the age of 76. He was born on August 16, 1941 to Clarence and Ola (Mullins) Griffin in Collin County, Texas. Bobby grew up in Collin County, Texas and attended schools in Blue Ridge, Texas. He spent most of his adult life in the Dallas Fort-Worth Metroplex. Bobby married Trena Riley on December 24, 2002 in Blue Ridge, Texas. He was an entrepreneur who owned and operated Texas Motor Home Rental for the last 25 years. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was a master storyteller. He was a member of Crossroads Presbyterian Church in Desert, Texas. Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Trena Griffin of Blue Ridge, Texas; son, Ward Griffin and wife, Kristin of Bonham, Texas; daughter, Shannon Lands and husband, John Derek of Blue Ridge, Texas; son, Derek Riley and wife, Brynne of Blue Ridge, Texas; grandchildren, Shayla Williams, Jayden and Darrah Griffin, Andi Tolbert and husband, Drew, Carson Riley, and Chaney and Jordi Renfro; great-grandchildren, Tatum and Jolee Tolbert and Marlee Ballard; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other loving family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ola Griffin; four brothers; two sisters; and wife, Rebecca Beckham Griffin. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery in Desert, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
