Bio

She married the Rev. Norman Marcus Vandagriff on Aug. 11, 1945. She was a resident of Oakwood House. She served the Lord beside her husband for many years as a pastor's wife. They served full time at Union Grove Baptist Church in Sulphur Springs, First Baptist Church in Ladonia, Hillcrest Baptist Church and Clearview Baptist Church in Marshall, and many other Baptist churches as part time or interim. She was known and loved by many as Ms. Jessie or Ms. Van. She worked in the Marshall Independent School District for many years as a teacher's aide, where she retired.
