Bio

Mrs. Charley Tuley died Monday morning, December 13, 1936 at her home in the Old Huron community. Myrtle Canter was born June 8, 1876, and at the time of her death was 60 years of age. She was the youngest of five children of Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Canter. The Canter home was in the Brush Creek community, south of Horton. On Sept. 7, 1892 she married William S. Harden, of Old Huron. Mr. Harden died January 3, 1921. January 31, 1923, Mrs. Harden married Charles M. Tuley, of the Huron community. Mr. Tuley died Sept. 19, 1930. Since the death of her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Garold Harden, a year ago, Mrs. Tuley had been keeping house for her son and his five children. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frank Tuttle, Effingham; one son, Garold Harden, Old Huron; one step-daughter, Mrs. Ralph Olson and one step-son, Carl Tuley, both of Effingham.
