Bio
Married early in life; 17 to TP Murphy; Had 15 children over the years of their marriage and 12 of the 15 survived. Just a hard working East Texas couple. She cooked a lot of biscuits and fed a lot of kids over her lifetime. I still have the biscuit cutter which is definitely the worse for wear! She was always a great pleasure to be around and fullfilled the image of a grandma from the word go. She always called TP or my Grandpa "Piston". I remember she often had a dip of snuff in her lip ever now and again. Will add more as time permits. Note I do not know who had the memorial prepared but they never spelled their name other than "Murphy" on any documents I have ever seen. "Murphey" spelling on memorial monument is incorrect spelling.
