He came with his parents to Howard county in 1881 and some years later, to Sherman county where he spent the remainder of his life. On Jan. 23, 1900, he married Anna Tyma at Posen, near Farwell. To this union nine children were born, four boys and five girls. One daughter, Martha, died in infancy. Those surviving are his wife, Anna; his sons, John F. Roschynialski, Sherburn, Minn., Stanley Roschynialski Sutherland; Anton Roschynialski, Elsie, Nebr.; and Louis Roschynialski, Loup City, Nebr.; his daughers, Mrs. Elizabeth Tryba, Ravenna; Mrs Domicella Slobaszewski, Ashton; Mrs. Agnes Woltman, Loup City; and Mrs. Barbara Silver, Independence, Mo.; one brother, Valentine Roschynialski, Buffalo, N.Y.; and one sister, Mrs. Pelegia Wiezorek, Ravenna. Two brothers preceded him in death. Twenty-five grandchildren also survive him. Pallbearers at the funeral, held Monday morning in St. Josaphat church were Harry Smedra, Ralph Slobaszewski, Leo Szafrajda, Joe Roszczynialski, John Tyma and Joe Barent.
