Bio

Thanks to contributor Kathy Burgess Burr (47226369) for the name and dates. ~~~~~~~~~~ According to "Entering Howard County" by Marion Bahensky and Ron Sack, page 128-129, 1892 - "In October a diphtheria epidemic began....In the Paplin area it was especially severe...somewhere between 90 and 100 children died...Among the bereaved families were ....six of the Joe Roszxnialski (sic)family..... The children were all buried in one side of the cemetery, in two long rows and part of a third, most of the graves being unmarked..." ~~~~~ In the 1910 census, Mary Roszczynialski indicated she had given birth to 19 children, only 6 still living.
