Bio
Joseph Frank Reznicek, Jr. was born in Kaufman, Texas on December 2, 1924 to Josef and Aloise Pekar Reznicek. Joe passed away in Kaufman on September 25, 2011. Joe was raised in the Lone Star Community and later joined the U. S. Army and service in the Korean War. After, the service Joe came back to Kaufman where he carried the mail on horseback as a sub carrier. He worked for the U. S. Postal service for forty-four years. He loved farming and his cattle operation. Joe was a member of the Saint Ann Catholic Church in Kaufman. He married Rosie Ann Elzner at the Saint Ann Catholic Church on February 9, 1948. Rose preceded Joe in death on March 6, 2010. His parents and brothers Emil and Jerry and a sister Mary Miklius also preceded him in death. Joe is survived by his sons: Jodie Reznicek of Mabank and randy Reznicek and his wife Judy of Kaufman, grandchildren: Brian Reznicek, Brad Reznicek, Jennifer Killingsworth, Chris Reznicek, Jason Reznicek and Brennan Popham, four great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
