Funeral services for Bonnie Faye Patterson, 89, of Weaver will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18, 2011, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Lee Huff officiating. Interment will follow at Sulphur Bluff Cemetery with Justin Ashby, Don Chance, Jack Chance, Don Patterson, Eugene Edwards, Donald Lynn Patterson, Jerry Edwards and James Kirkpatrick serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, 2011, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Bonnie Faye Patterson passed away Friday morning, Sept. 16, 2011, at her residence. She was born in Sulphur Springs on June 26, 1922, the daughter of Henry P. Hill and Oza (Chance) Hill. She married Ben Levi Patterson in Sulphur Springs on July 20, 1940. He survives. Mrs. Patterson was a homemaker. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Other survivors include two daughters, one son, 14 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Nina Dyess; two sons, Delbert Patterson and Claudie Everitt Patterson; one grandson, Gerald Crawford; three brothers, John Hill, H.P. Hill and Robert Hill; and two sisters, Henrietta Kirkpatrick and Oza May Jacobs. Memorials may be made to Sulphur Bluff Cemetery Association and/or Hospice at Memorial.
