Funeral services for Larry Levi Patterson, age 69, of Saltillo will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 19, 2016 in the West Oaks Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. C. J. Duffy officiating. Military Graveside Honors by the Hopkins County Coalition will follow at the Sulphur Bluff Cemetery with Jack Chance, Eugene Edwards, Brad Holcomb, James Kirkpatrick, Jerry Edwards, Dominick Hughes, Justin Ashby and Gene Tanton serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday February 18, 2016 at West Oaks Funeral Home. Mr. Patterson passed away at his residence on Thursday February 11, 2016. He was born on November 03, 1946 in Sulphur Springs, the son of Ben “Dut” Levie and Bonnie Faye Hill Patterson. Mr. Patterson worked as an electrician as well in the construction field and worked at Clayton Home for 10 years. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam conflict. He was of the Baptist faith. He is survived by his sisters, Linda Tanton and husband Gene of Saltillo, Doris Brown of Sulphur Springs, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brothers, Delbert Patterson, Claude Everett Patterson, and sister, Nina Dyess.
