Mrs. Henrietta Kirkpatrick Funeral services for Mrs. Henrietta Kirkpatrick, 86, of Sulphur Springs, were conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 3, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Greg Anderson and the Rev. Kenneth Rhoades officiating. Burial was in Restlawn Memorial Park with Ben Kirkpatrick, Andy Anderson, Don Jones, Mike Oliver, Eugene Edwards, and Keith Anderson serving as pallbearers. Mrs. Kirkpatrick died at 10:40 p.m., Thursday, March 31. She was born Oct. 19, 1907, in Hopkins County, the daughter of Henry P. and Mary Frances (Louise) Demaris Thomas Hill. She married John Presley (Sid) Kirkpatrick on May 15, 1926, in Childress. He preceded her in death in 1984. Mrs. Kirkpatrick was a homemaker. She was a member of Central Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, Ben Kirkpatrick and Ray Kirkpatrick, both of Sulphur Springs, and James KirkPatrick of Campbell; four daughters, Roena Butcher and Ann Oliver, both of Sulphur Springs, Vannoy Gentles of Paris and Sidney Anderson of Greenville; one sister, Bonnie Fay Patterson of Sulphur Springs; a stepmother, Oza Hill of Sulphur Springs; 27 grandchildren; and 47 great-grand-children. She was also preceded in death by a son, J.P. Kirkpatrick; a daughter, Sybil Jones; two grandchildren, Jackie Gentles Howard and John Kirkpatrick; three brothers, John Hill, Robert Hill and H.P.
