FORT WORTH - Elizabeth Anne Wells Leddon, 78, a retired bookkeeper, died Tuesday, May 4, 1999, at a Fort Worth nursing home. Graveside service: 2 p.m. Thursday in Greenwood Memorial Park. Memorials: American Cancer Society. Elizabeth Anne "Liby" Leddon was born Sept. 19, 1920, in Fort Worth. She had lived in Salisbury, N.C., with her son and daughter-in-law who lovingly cared for her for 10 years. She fought a courageous battle with emphysema for many years. She was well loved by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Leddon Sr.; and her son, Richard Leddon Jr. Survivors: Daughter-in-law, Kay Leddon of Salisbury, N.C.; brother, J.D. Wells of Fort Worth; sister, Donalea Wells Smith of Fort Worth; grandson, Richard Leddon III of New York City; great-grandson, Alec Leddon of New York City; granddaughter, Mrs. Chip Faulkner of Raleigh, N.C.; six nieces and nephews; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.
