DAVID KEITH GERON David Keith Geron, age 58, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Cate-Spencer & Trent Funeral Home. David was born on April 26, 1953 to Harrell and Evelyn (Young) Geron. He was a 1972 graduate of Sweetwater High School. He married Carmen Medina in Loraine, Texas on December 2, 1985. He worked as a mechanic for USG for many years before retiring. He is survived by his wife Carmen Geron of Sweetwater, Texas; two sons, David Adam Geron and wife Jennifer of Maricopa, Arizona; and David Josh Geron of Sweetwater, Texas; two daughters, April Dawn Franklin and husband James of Fort Worth, Texas; and Christina Maria Geron of Lubbock, Texas; five grandchildren, Riley Cooper Geron, Hunter Jaxson Geron, LaShanda Franklin, Tawana Franklin, and Devante Franklin; one brother, Harrell Geron, Jr., and wife Penny of Little River, Texas; and one sister, Carolyn Geron Dean and husband Randy of Ingram, Texas, and brother-in-law, Mohamed Zaky of The Colony, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harrell and Evelyn Geron; one sister, Margie Zaky, and brother, Billy Geron.
