Bio

MRS. ELSIE A. HA1N WILTON—Mrs. Elsie A. Hain,74, of Wilton, died at 10 a.m., Tuesday, at the Muscatine General hospital after a lengthy illness. The daughter of August and Amanda Fulwider Dallege, she was born on March 22, 1893 in Cedar County and has been a lifetime resident of the area. On July 25, 1917, she married Harrison M. Hain, in Muscatine. She was a member of the United Church of Christ, Purity chapter 365 0. E. S. and Royal Neighbors of America camp 1068 of Wilton. Mrs. Hain is survived by her husband of Wilton, and one brother,Vance O. Dallege, of Tipton. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters and one son. Funeral services will be held at the Griffith Funeral home on Thursday at 2 p.m., with Rev. Homer Perry officiating. Interment will be at Oakdale cemetery. Muscatine Journal May 10, 1967
