Daughter of Christopher Stine and Pricscilla (Rexwinkle) Stine. Married first William Oral Bickham on March 29, 1903 at Edna, Labette County, Kansas. Children: Anna Irene, Howard Marion, Glenn Ira and Wayne Oral. Married second Carles V McKinley on January 28, 1922 at Independence, Montgomery County, Kansas. Married third Charles Albert Cary on May 18, 1951. Obituary: Josie was a member of a well-known pioneer Labette County family being born in 1886 in Edna, Kansas. She was married three times and had four children by her first husband, Bill Bickham. She was a member of the Edna United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of the Royal Neighbors of America and the Rebekah Lodge. At the time of her death she was 87 years 9 months and 20 days old. Services were conducted at the First Methodist Church of Edna. Bates Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
