Bio

Leonard H. Nehls, 74, of Arcadia died Monday, Aug. 22, 2011, at Jennie Melham Memorial Medical Center in Broken Bow. . . Leonard was born March 23, 1937, in San Bernardino, Calif., to Henry and Mamie (Warford) Nehls. On May 28, 1960, he married Loraine Schade in Kearney. Survivors include his wife; sons, Percy of Rogers, Ark., and Loran of Madison; daughters, Alnetta Hejtmanek of Clarks and Maria of Strasburg, Colo.; brothers, Fred of Lincoln and Leland of Grand Island; sister, Maxine Johnson of Lexington; and six grandchildren. Burial was in the Evergreen Cemetery near Loup City, NE. Published in Kearney Hub on September 6, 2011
