"The Houston Post," Houston, TX 26 Dec. 1990, Obituary. CHESTER M. HAM, 73, died Sunday, December 23, 1990. Mr. Ham was a long time resident of Houston and at the time of his death was a resident of New Orleans, Louisiana. Mr. Ham was in the pipeline construction business for many years and was a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erlys Leah Ham and is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jerry Don and Esther Ruth Ham of New Orleans and Houston; sisters, Dena Elizabeth Rankin, Levelland, TX; Norma Jean Turner, Winnsboro, TX; brother Woodrow Ham, Beeville, TX; sister-in-law, Margaret P. Ham, Galena Park; four grandchildren, Mrs. Jerri Diane Dolon, Washington, D. C.; Jordon Clark Ham, San Diego, CA; Jeffrey Craig Ham, Austin; Elizabeth Leah Ham, Lawrence, KS; four great-grandchildren, Cameron Andrew Davidson, Bridgett Anne Dolon; Haley Jenelle Ham and Tara Lynette Dolon. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Thursday, December 27, 1990 in the Forest Park Lawndale Funeral Chapel with Rev. Frank Alegrio officiating. Interment Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery
