Victoria Advocate Victoria, Texas January 12, 2002 GERALD W. HAM BEEVILLE - Gerald Woodrow "Woody" Ham, 83, of Beeville, died Thursday, January 10, 2002. He was born July 19, 1918 in Wellington, Texas, to the late Meredith and Meta Mae Ham. He was a graduate of Wellington High School with the Class of 1938. and was a U.S. Army veteran serving during World War II in the Pacific Theater. He was a business manager at Beeville ISD and a member of First Baptist Church, the Kiwanis Club and the Hospital Board. Survivors: wife Mozelle Neva Melton Ham; daughter, Alicia Bailey of San Antonio; sisters, Norma Turner and Dena Rankin, both of Levelland; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by: son, Gerald Clinton Ham; parents; and brothers, Joe Ham, Hubert Ham, Fred Ham and Chester Ham. Visitation will be 2 to 6 p.m. today at Galloway and Sons Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Beeville, the Rev. Mac Robinson officiating. Burial will be at Beeville Memorial Park on E. Highway 59, Galloway and Sons Funeral Directors.
