Bio

Per his sister, Lilly Weiland - DeBower in May of 1977, Lorenz was diabetic but was killed in a car accident. He married in March of 1927 and they had 3 children over the next 8 years. His wife left the family. His eldest, a son remainded with Lorenz; his middle child, a daughter was adopted by Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Pfaltzgraff and his youngest daughter was adopted by Steve and Violet Piper. Violet Walsh - Piper was Lorenz' cousin and he made his home with the Piper family for many years. Lorenz is buried in the cemetery in Dumont, IA with Steve and Violet Piper. Clellan Lucille Pfaltzgraff - Ufford FAG memorial 45055386 is Lorenz' daughter.
