Bio

Robert Lee Plunkett, 88, lived most of his life in HIll County, living around Abbott for some time and in Hillsboro for 24 years. He was a retired farmer. Mr. Plunkett married Jessie Epling in 1902. He married Grace Kinard on 10 November 1944. Mr. Plunkett was a member of the Methodist Church. Survived by his wife - Grace Plunkett; six sons - Tom Plunkett, A.B. Plunkett, Walter Alvin Plunkett, Olin "Hat" Plunkett, Roy L. Plunkett, Murrie Plunkett; three daughters - Mrs. Fred Young, Mrs. Luther A. Hill, Mrs. Allston Lee Williams; four sisters - Lucy Henson, Dora Griffith, Minnie Fowler, Katie Norris; 21 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren. The West News January 10, 1969
