C. Robberson Rites Thursday Services for Vernon C. Robberson, former resident of Greenville, will be held Thursday April 21 at 2 p.m. in the Gray Sorrells and Sons Chapel. The Rev. B. J. Bell will officiate. Interment will be in the Tidwell Cemetery. At the time of his death Mr. Robberson was residing in Hiawatha, Kansas. Reared in Hunt County he had lived most of his life in and near Greenville. Born February 11, 1892 he was the son of Samuel B. and Nannie Chapman Robberson. He was a member of the American Legion. Surviving are his wife and two sons, Floyd Robberson who is in the U. S. Navy stationed in California and Louis Robberson, Oklahoma; two sisters, Mrs. Nannie Beane and Mrs. Claude Pearce, both of Greenville and three stepchildren. Two brothers preceded Mr. Robberson in death. Mell Jhonak, Hick Beane, Guy Miller, Joe Miller, Velvin Webb, and Mark Webb will serve as pallbearers.
