Manuel J Johnson was one of six children born to David Johnson and Hamey Ann Lindsey. The 1950 census has him listed as David E Johnson and his death certificate also says David Johnson. All other records show Manuel J Johnson. He married Sarah Ann Braden of Weakley Co TN on the 27 Aug 1892 in Red River County. Their children: Cora Fay Johnson Ozment, William Hiram "Jack" Johnson, Ovid Manuel Johnson, Clyde M Johnson, Minnie Opal Johnson Wright and Henry David Johnson.
