Bio
Albert E. Perlenfein was born on Aug. 17, 1907 in Wolbach, NE. He was born the third child of eight to William Perlenfein and Elizabeth Klein Perlenfein. Albert was with family when he passed on May 2, 2004, in Yuma. Albert began his career as a farmer at the tender age of eight. Due to hard economic times he helped to support his family at this early age and was required to stop his formal education in the eighth grade. Albert was a loving and wonderful husband, father and grandfather. he married Oouuala Busher on April 3, 1929. They were blessed with three wonderful children, Jean, Ernie and Dennis. On April 3, 2004, they celebrated their 75th wedding anniversary. Although he was able to complete his education, Albert was able to do anything with his hands and did a tremendous job raising his family. He thoroughly enjoyed bringing in the harvest each year and continued to help Dennis by running a combine until he was 93. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth; six siblings, Ted, Molly, Edgar, Wilbert, Alvin and Naomi; his son, Ernie; and his daughter, Jean. Albert is survived by his wife, Oouuala Perlenfein; his brother, Reinhold Perlenfein; son, Dennis Perlenfein and wife Charlotte; son-in-law, Bob Chrismer; daughter-in-law, Anabelle Perlenfein; grandchildren, Ramona Hofer and husband Robby, Roger Chrismer, Tammy Costick and husband Marco and Dena Perlenfein; great-grandchildren, Eldon McCreath and wife Amber, Sarah Douglas and husband Mike and Rachel Hofer; great great-grandchildren, Dalton McCreath, Colton McCreath, Morgan Douglass, Madison McCreath and Karla McCreath. There was a graveside service at the Yuma Cemetery on Wednesday, May 5, with Evangelist Bernerd Buchanan officiating.
