Bio

Ralph was the son of A. S. Holifield and Martha (Mattie) Elizabeth Lancaster. He was their first child born in Texas. When he was born, his father was a farmer in the Pleasant Mound area of Dallas County. On his World War I draft registration card in 1918 Ralph was described as short and stout with blue eyes and brown hair. Ralph was a retired contractor when he died. He belonged to the Central Church of the Nazarene.
