No marker has been found for Horace Beech.
Horace Beech's body has never been found but to have a record of his life he will at least have a memorial with his mother Martha "Patsy" Shows Beech. Horace disappeared after recieving a pardon in (1924?) from the Governor of Mississippi from Parchman Prison. Apparently he was wrongly accused. He supposedly left there walking and no one has seen or heard from him since. His brother Lee Beech hired private investigators to try and locate him. It was rumored that a belt buckle and shoe were found in the Eastabutchie swamp near Moselle, Mississippi, that may have belonged to him. Maybe someone will solve the mystery one day. One theory is that the person that had written bad checks on him may have had something to do with his disappearance.
