Funeral services will be held today, November 9, 1960, at 2 p.m. for Cyrill M. Tomandl, who died on Sunday, November 6, 1960, at the age of 72 years. He died at his home in Seward, Nebraska. Mr. Tomandl was born July 3. 1888 in Rouchevany, Moravia, Czechoslovakia, to Frank Tomandl, Sr. and Carolina Novak Tomandl. The family emigrated to America in 1891 and settled in Bruno, Nebraska. On March 25, 1913, he was married to Sarah F. Amos. Survivors include his wife Sarah; two daughters, Frances (Orville) Smothers of Grand Lake, Colorado and Genevieve (John) Krummack of Saginaw, Michigan; and a son, Darrell (Shirley Swanson Ebert) Tomandl. Seven grandchildren; Patricia, Joseph II, John II, Kathryn, and Mary Krummack; and Terry and Deborah Tomandl. Rev. Robert Folkers will officiate at the service to be held at Wood Bros. Chapel in Seward. Pallbearers will include Leonard and Willard Shipley, Eugene Burial will be at the Seward Cemetery.
