Obituary: Mrs. Mary Pfannenstiel, 73, 2105 Seward, died Tuesday in a Topeka nursing home. She was born May 3, 1896, Topeka, where she spent most of her life. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Her husband, John F. Pfannenstiel, died in 1933. Survivors include five sons, Patrick A. Pfannenstiel, Mira Loma, Calif., Paul A. Pfannenstiel and Leonard Pfannenstiel, both of Wakarasa, Clarence Pfannenstiel, address unavailable, and Elmer G. Pfannenstiel, Des Moines, Iowa and two daughters, Mrs. Lorraine M. Tabor, Henderson, Nev. and Mrs. Mildred Cohee, at home. Also surviving are three brothers, Bill Kippes and George Kippes, both of Route 4, and Joe Kippes, Johnson; seven sisters, Mrs. Susie Rasgall, Chicago, Ill, Mrs. Barbara Norim, Cape Kennedy, Fla., Mrs. Elizabeth Leiker, Odessa, Mo., Mrs. Lena Worela, Palm Springs, Calif., Mrs. Kathryn Hurl, Victoria, Mrs. Anna Joslin, Boise, Idaho, and Mrs. Margaret Durant, Mira Loma, Calif.; 24 grandchild, and 20 great-grandchildren. Brennan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
