Bio

Richard B Sisson, born in Georgia, was the son of Vincent S and Phebe Tucker Sisson. He died in the Civil War. Family legend has it that he died at Vicksburg. Another family story is that his body was sent to Corpus Christi, Texas, the only open confederate port, and that his parents went by wagon there to bring the body home to Hickory, Mississippi.
